No Hope

Yes I'm one of those 'unclean' because I smoke. Yes I'm known to enjoy the odd or two. Yes I own a couple of , who between them keep the local petrol station in business and are destroying the world, No I dont take my own bags to the supermarket and I'm not about to buy my first home nor have I extreme wealth to worry about inheritance tax, nor do I work for a bank that will pay me a bonus no matter how bad my results
All in all,after today there is no hope for me. I might as well give up now or accept that I will be paying for the mistakes of our politicians for many years to come.
Perhaps I should stand for election as if elected I wouldn't have to worry about these things ever again.

well, i think that they should put up tax on your dirty smokers and put the price of petrol down!! they should also put that stupid 10% rise on cider in the bin!! whats the west country gonna do now!!

I stopped off just outside High Wycombe yesterday afternoon and picked up 60litres of Millwhites Scrumpy at pre tax increase prices......

Then drove down to Bournemouth for a memorial service for a mate who was murdered last year

Then had a few pints of apple juice in his name

Then had to drive back to Kent this morning for work

So although I got some pre-increase cider in, that's another £40 in fuel duty and VAT poured down the throat of inefficient government.

I need another drink.
