2011 H4H 4 x 4 Rally - Where could we go?

Subject: 2011 H4H 4 x 4 Rally - Where could we go? Wed Feb 10, 2010 8:40 am

Is it time to start the discussion on where we should go next year?

As Keith and Tim have done such a great job organising this one, perhaps we should give them some ideas and food for thought for consideration for a 2011 Rally!

My suggestion is:

Peninsular War 1809 - 1814 (Sharpe on Wheels) (Spain and Portugal)

Other options could be:

Norway 1940 (Narvik and Trondheim etc)

Barborossa 1942 (Poland and Russia)

Balkans 1992 - 1999 (Get a Rail Train to Vienna from Dusseldorf to save mileage en route)

or any other suggestions would be welcomed for the discussion.

I've always wanted to drive around the coast for the northsea! from scandinavia south! so i voted norway! bounce

Mmmm - Interesting; but all above conflict with our 2011 plans: we already have the skeleton in place and it starts at a secret location on 20th June 2011!!!!!! cheers

We intend another 10-night venture; ending Tues 28th June and back to the UK on Thurs 30th June 2011.

Details in due course; inc secret locations!

Didn't think I would be, but hey - felt good posting it clown

Defo, count me in - always up for an adventure. Previous European trips have been great - convoys of old MK1 Granadas down into the depths of Germany and the far reaches of Holland, Belguim etc... for classic Ford shows etc...
Known on other club sites/forums as "European Wanderer" bounce

Even be up for some reccy & planning work too.

And raising money for charity is an added bonus.
