looks like an aircraft headset in the first one,

but if the pictures were for normal people not the borrowers!!! i might be able to see them better!

Getting warm Harry but what type, your on your way to being a RAF man?? If the foto's were any bigger you wouldbe able to see details

Well I'm guessing, either a helicopter or fixed wing, puma merlin chinook or a Hercules, being nearest to your area

There was a Herc in the area for a little while but that soon flew off!

I'm going to stick with the rest that he/she is on an aircraft.

My educated guess is going to be way off I think, but this is how I've come to it (please can I have two guesses).

I don't think it's rotary, as the crew wouldn't wear headsets, they would have a full helmet with visor (built in intercom), and it isn't a C130, again the crew would wear proper headsets.

The 2nd pic looks to be a bench/worktop so I reckon it would be either a VC-10 or much less likely an E3-D.

If it isn't the above then I think I may know then, will wait out

No to both. Nice thinking though. Getting closer all the time. Keep trying you might get it before I get home.
