| We stop over at Arnhem for a couple of nights. I have been trying to think of an idea to do 'something' for the 'Airborne'. Past and present. After loads of ideas I have found it!!!!! It will need some co-operation of all the teams but I would like to set of maybe 50 lanterns at the same time, on one of the evenings, Tues or Wed. They will light the sky and float back down as parachutes! Please let me know if you will help? JJ

| I'm gonna speak witha supplier and get the cheapest price! They are made of rice paper and bamboo traditionally. I am sure you can write your Team name on the paper with a marker. Retail they are about a pound each.... I am certain I will get them for trade!!! | |

| JJ - I think that's a fantastic idea. On current plans, Domino's Pizza will feed us on the Tuesday; not compulsory but we would hope to have a mass BBQ to go with it (it's a good opportunity as our camping area is solely for our use - at other sites we're more likley to be mixed)- thus most, if not all of the teams are likely to be there. So.... Tues looks optimum Dusk will be 2200hrs and it'll be dark 2300hrs. | |

| JJ - Bill and 'dosh' in one sentence is worrying. He has deep pockets - although to be fair to him he volunteered (was conned) into buying me a 1/4 pint of lager last year at some Alpine campsite - I think he was affected by the height and lack of oxygen. | |

Not me they won't - not without my Epipens and the number of the local hospital Rather serious wheat allergy. Precludes me from drinking beer too Seulement une botteille de vin ou une, deux, trois..... cidre pour moi, s'il vous plait Count Team Shiny (The Dirty Thirty) in for a lantern or two | |

| Fantastic idea... I'm up for it...
Might be worth contacting the paras.... see if they are interested in sending some reps or recording it. In fact, we should get what media involved we can.
Anyway... another bright idea from the man in the G-Wagon!
