Great news, I have managed to get a stand at the LRO Show 2009! - http://www.lroshow.com/welcome.html. With more than 70 clubs at the show (more than any other event), a giant trade area, massive autojumble and also an official 'Sodbury Sort Out' at the event the show is an unmissable weekend for any Land Rover enthusiast and Rimmer Bros have chosen the event to showcase their range of Land Rover parts and services. There will also be entertainment on Saturday night!

I have managed to get a special rate for those of you who are interested in coming to the event for the whole weekend!

The normal price for camping* is £65-£70 but they have agreed that anyone who is taking part in the 'Help for Heroes 4x4 European Rally' can camp for the weekend (Friday-Sunday) for only £25.

*This camping price covers 1 vehicle, 2 people + tent (any additional people will be £10 per person)

If you are interested in this please let me know before Monday 7th September, as I will need email them the list on the evening of that Monday!

should really have the enviroment agency up there though to assess how much oil ends up in the soil!!! lol!

Jez - You're forgiven as you own a L/R - it's called the 'Help For Heroes 4x4 European Rally' stand.

Keep your eyes open for our gazebo with the above words emblazoned and you shouldn't go too far wrong. If in doubt ask any of the Jap 'n Jeep 'n G-Wagon crowd - they're a very helpful bunch Rolling Eyes

Them there L/R lot are starting to realise the benefits of Jap products - they now want our wheels for their vehicles; next it'll be engine, transmission; the lot !!!! Shocked

Sun is cracking the tarmac, lots of interest in the stand, doing well, lots of reserve bookings being taken, and stuff going well, and keith makes a cracking brew.

Sunday was a bit cooler, but all in all, the stand was a huge success, and the banter was good, already a growing list for 2011, Tim will update donations and sales stuff soon.

the magic of the organising team meant that companies were approaching the stand asking what they could do to help, so, this event seems to be attracting a lot of interest.

See some of you at Abingdon end of month.

Well, we've just arrived back! We're shattered Razz

First of all we just want to thank Richie & Jack for all their help over the weekend on the stand cheers

The show was a great success for the H4H 4x4 Rally in many ways! As Richie mentioned, we (my dad & I) were initially going to do this rally as a one-off for 2010, but after a LOT of interest we have now decided to do an event in 2011 and possibly more, which we hope is a great move! Smile

It was also really good to meet a couple of the other teams taking part in the 2010 Smile
