Dover

Can anyone recommend a cheap, quiet hotel in Dover? We want to get our heads down for a few hours before driving back up to Hull on our return from Bavaria. Thanks.

Quite a few teams have done the same in prev years. Cant remember the hotel but no doubt one of them will be along soon

Look at the crossing Zeebrugge to Hull,or even Rotterdam to Hull on the Saturday night, weigh that up against hotel cost and onward fuel north from Dover, may be a good alternative.

Other than that, Travel lodge/premier in maidstone, but get in quick

We're stopping in the Premier Inn, Eureka Park, Ashford Kent.  It's about 1/2hr from the ferry on the Sat eve.
