Hi From Unit 6

Hi all from sunny Leicestershire, we have managed to join you good people   and the rest of you   

We have a 110 defender (with no oil leaks, yes there is oil in it !!!) and are looking forward to all incoming banter   

I have to admit this trip is my idea of heaven, 000`s of miles in a Defender sleeping in a tent, whereas, the missus will find this a little more challenging    

Looking forward to meeting you all and doing something good for H4H and having a general good time

Didnt notice that in the itinerary.
Its all very serious and well behaved, no unscheduled fun is allowed without prior approval from the management.

Admin update Chaps, looks like the 06 marshals choice award winning team 2014 has a winner already.

Welcome to the rally, i think you're going to fit right in. Its nice when a team understands proper bribery straight off.

We will be the 2 big ugly geezers in the bleedin great van with the yellow 06 on the side. Don't worry about the size if the box being too big, we have plenty of space.

The Rally is great fun if you totally ignore the marshals  

Welcome to the rally. You don't have to be mad but it helps. Pork pies and port a great combination!
Rally is great fun especially if Keith and Tim have arranged the weather as usual. Essential kit includes wellingtons, raincoat and hat.   

Good time!! Good time! No one said I was to have a good time    I have not done any prep for a good time   
Welcome to the Jungle, are you certain it is a 110? 110 and no leaks do not go together!
I am going to have to lye down in a dark room and think about this for at least a week.   

Welcome aboard Tom; You'll have gathered the strict rules re no banter and no bribing of marshals.   

We're yet to announce that for 2014 all crews will be supplied with deckchairs to allow comfort during the long hours of recreational time. Knotted handkerchiefs will be in the rally packs (your caring organisers wouldn't want crews to get too sun-burnt).   

Finally, also new for 2014, will be the 0900hrs cup of tea with toast, delivered to your tent by the duty marshal.
