Newbury 4x4 Autojumble 7th April

Great to meet/see some of the 2013 crews at today's Autojumble. Newbies/Oldies/Very Oldies and two of the marshal crews. The weather seemed to draw quite a crowd; and the 10C temp was somewhat better than the Easter Reunion's -7C!

Your kindly, caring, helpful organisers then spent the latter part of the day on parts of the Mission 1 route - identifying some prime SC locations

- Unheralded wisdom, unseen since the inaugural rally of 2010.

You were probably talking in your sleep Nick so you don't really deserve to get any points......in fact, I think points should be deducted for careless talking.

Sorry Nick - We've gone through the rulebook in detail and have found that Article 34C (a)(iii) is specific in relation to the awarding of points.

I quote; 'Where unheralded wisdom is identified by the organisers and points are awarded in such rare recognition, the said points cannot be reversed'

Article 34C(g)(iv) also states: 'Those awarded points in recognition of unheralded wisdom may feel outcast by their co-entrants. There are number of indicators which act as pointers eg thinking they can do up a Lt/Wt, excessive port consumption, talking in sleep, attempts to seek cancellation of points awarded etc. If any such signs appear, in order to support any crews inflicted by unheralded wisdom, the organisers are obliged to double the initial points awarded.

Article 34(H)(y)(ix) has further details on the points mechanisms and includes a section that explains how wonderful and modest your caring organisers are.

You think Keith does all this typing.. He has a small manservant to do it for him while he sits on the veranda being brought tea by the char whallah whilst being fanned by the punka whallah.

This team shot from the last marshals get together may help the youngsters who havent got a clue what im rabbiting on about.

Don't forget about the dhobi wallah doing his socks..........!
