Food for thought Empty
PostSubject: Food for thought   Food for thought EmptySun Aug 19, 2012 9:15 pm

I just thought a few might have been a little afraid to add up the "food for thought" bill. For food read fuel. I have now got all my credit card statements in, and was amazed at how little we actually spent on fuel. Total bill to get from France to UK to start rally (808 miles) and then back home afterwards cost us £755, giving an average fuel consumption of 27.07 mpg. That taught me the "Puma" engine is not quite as thirsty as it seemed whilst on the rally. Just wish the 90 had a larger fuel tank
