By now you should all be starting to get yourselves acclimatised to the gruelling conditions that await you on the rally. If you have not already started this final stage of your preparation, can I suggest you:

[1]Find a polo shirt that doesn't actually go with a single item in your wardrobe, and wear it for 5 days solid. On day 5, take it off, rinse it under a tap and put it back on again.

    [2]Wear flip-flops in the rain

[3]Collect your clothes for the week into a neatly folder pile, then stuff it all into a damp carrier bag and sit on it

[4]Eat nothing but beans, french bread and cheese, washed down with cheap red wine and cheaper "stubby" lager

[5]Spend 24 hours in the company of midges

[6]lose an essential part of your tent

And no sleeping until Thursday, ok?

Hope this has helped. Very Happy

More points deducted for Car 16 - Reason; unreasonbly arguing with an organiser and organisers are always right Rolling Eyes

Matt - Points won't be deducted for pre-rally breakages of tent poles but as you've mentioned it we might introduce penalties during the rally for such an incident Ha Rolling Eyes

Mmmmm Bulb

Hope Postman Pat is timely
