2011 H4HRally Nurburgring visit

Following on from the success of 2010 when I organised a visit for rally people to visit the 'Green Hell', I'm offering my services to do it again.

After the drive from Bavaria last year I missed out the Mosel camping opportunity and went straight into the heart of the Motorsport Mecca. I'd arranged for the rally vehicles to drive a lap in safety of the Nordschleife (longest and most dangerous racetrack in the world) and didn't get a single bad word about the whole experience, everyone enjoyed it.

This year if there's enough interest then I plan on doing the same thing with two options:

Option 1:- Arrive in Mosel 29/06/11. Meet up at the Nurburgring early afternoon on 30/06/11 where you can go for some green laning around the circuit to various viewpoints (the circuit is likely to be in use during the day, so good spectating) or a visit to EifelDorf is recommended (but pricey). The circuit opens for tourist driving at 1715 until 1930. I wouldn't recommend driving rally vehicles around during normal touristdriving times, but I will try and arrange as I did last year so we can all do a convoy lap at the end of the session if there is enough interest. From the circuit I will be heading to the local town for some food and maybe a few beers.

Option 2:- Arrive in Eifel 29/06/11. Stay at a British run guesthouse and as Option 1 for events with the added bonus of a comfortable bed and a well deserved lay in. The guest house I use is normally EUR32 per night + EUR7 for an English breakfast (continental breakfast is included in the EUR32) although I will try and organise a deal again if there is enough interest. Depart as per normal on Friday to get the Dunkirk > Dover ferry.

There are quite a few that don't use this forum; although all are encouraged to. Once things have 'calmed' down re this 'payment/panic' period and after the Stafford show we'll send out a generic email.

However, 90% of crews paying to date are all stopping on the Moselle. The 'Ring' could get busy Ha.
