The Easy Company thread runs throughout the tapestry of the Help for Heroes 4x4 European Rally; from Littlecote House through to the Eagle's Nest. Dick Winters was a true leader, thrust on by events; dropping into Normandy on D-Day and unexpectedly finding himself OC of Easy Company. A man hugely respected by those he commanded; a Band of Brothers - and his superiors. He will not be forgotten. RIP.
