Maybe an idea for a future trip ??

Friend of mine not long back from a trip to the Pyrenees:

Quote :

This was a recce trip to suss out the routes for future trips to the area.
We started off in Bossost just over the Spanish border & over the next two weeks made our way East over the Pyrenees towards the Med at Cap de Creus.

The trip involved both wild camping and camping at campsites. The snow level was unpredicatble, but was interesting enough with a trailer on!!

The shame is that the most challenging and technical off-roading was done at night, so no video of it.
Most of the tracks are gravel & easily driveable, but fighting through deep ruts, at night, at 1300m on a mountainside is something to be experienced Smiley
The views and scenery were 'awesome' - an oft used word
Well worth a trip if you get the chance.

One memory is of entering Andorra by the smugglers route over the mountain - excellent stuff.

The convoy was of 5 vehicles, 3 L/R, a Toyota Hilux and the L200 with trailer.
As one person said at the end of the trip, you did everything we did, but with a trailer on!!

Hope you enjoy.
