wing top vent !

right im on the hunt for one of those wing top vents with the air ram..

the kind that has a tube that comes out and faces forward. not the one with the little vent slats on it.

my plan is to cut of the ram and weld it one backwards to attach my snorkel to so i can run it throught the wing


if anyone has a link to a site that sells them or even has one going for sale

my advice would be that if you are good enough with a welder to cut it and weld it,
make one as you would destrol the coating of chrome or paint or whatever is on there by welding it

I think that it's too narrow a bore... it's a vent to improve engine airflow... not the air intake.

You might strangle yer engine doing that.

i think i will just fab one ourselves with the right bore size...

well most of everything in my car has been custom made by us so might as well keep it going.
